#1 Hey all, I'm very new to hackintosh, but not to installing operating systems in general. I followed this guide ( http://www.tonymacx86.com/yosemite-.oting-os-x-installer-laptops-clover-uefi.html) to create a bootable flash drive with Clover, and although my laptop boots from it, it gets stuck at the message "DSMOS has arrived" (first picture).

Oct 2015, 04:39 All, I've installed VirtualBox 5.0.6 on OS X 10.11 and am unable to boot an OS X 10.9 guest. Each time the machine boots I get different errors and messages. Sometimes the machine just hangs at "Waiting for DSMOS" and other times it makes it all the way to the end of the boot sequence and then dies.

1. Wait for hours for the system to come up 2. Boot in safe mode 3. Reset NVRAM 4. Reinstall the OS from the Recovery Tool 5. Run Apple Diagnostics (no errors reported) The only thing that gets me out of this state is a complete restore from Time Capsule, which brings the OS back to the version prior the update.

Oct 5, 2010. #1. Since the update from 10.6.3 to 10.6.4 my macbook pro 13" 2009 (now 2010 modell since today) hangs on the boot process for 8-10 seconds. After checking with Verbose Mode and the kernel.log I found that the mac is "Waiting for DSMOS" and takes that long until "DSMOS has arrived". Updating to 10.6.5 Beta didn't help.
